About Artispec

We build automated visual inspection for manufacturing. Our systems look at a part the way a trained inspector does — finding surface defects such as dents, burrs, scratches and pits, and catching features that are missing altogether — and they do it at line speed, consistently, on every part rather than on a sample.

Two of our inspection models are available to try in your browser right now, on your own photographs, with no sign-up and nothing to install. Adam detects visual defects on a part. Eve compares a part against a reference to find what is missing. We would rather you judged the technology by using it than by reading our description of it.

Where we are

We are based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, at the SPARK Incubation Centre at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College — in the middle of one of India's densest engineering and precision-manufacturing clusters. Being next to the shop floors we build for is deliberate: our models are trained and tested on the kinds of parts our neighbours actually make.
